Built in 1880 as the Eldridge Turner Hall better known now as Dell's Pub and Eatery was destroyed by fire Thursday Jan 17th 2012. Can't count how many dances, wedding receptions and parties I attended there. The owners plan to rebuild, but it's going to be hard to replace the charm and history of the old buildings 133 year old dance floor

Man I hate when this happens... We had an old 1783 house in town that was "Mint"... caught fire one night and was a total loss.Now we have a "McMansion" in it's place.

Yeah, like I said the owner plans to rebuild. But it just wont be the same, they lost a lot of old photos that hung on the walls around the dance floor of dances from the 20's and on. There was a group of photos from a huge dance they held celebrating the local guys who returned home from WWII the plae was filled with history and so many good memories for so many
